Quality Inspector - Finishing Department - 2nd shift

Our Quality Inspectors perform final inspections on all products to ensure product meets established specifications prior to shipment.

Responsibilities

Use gauges, coordinate measuring machines, scales, and vision to inspect products.

Generate spreadsheets for data collection.
Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments.
Interact with department management, production and other inspectors as needed. Daily communication with supervisors and operators on potential defects.
Test incoming/outgoing materials.
Send bad product back to production to be fixed, before allowing product to be shipped out or used in production.
Help pack products into shipping containers as needed.
Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Work with Quality Supervisor and production team to develop more efficient processes and higher quality standards.


Required Education and Experience


Manufacturing/industry experience.
Quality inspection experience.

Experience using measuring instruments.


Preferred Education and Experience


2 yr degree in a related field


Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States.
