About the Role
The Research Analyst supports the Firm's attorneys and business professionals by conducting high-value legal, business, and industry research using a broad range of digital databases and specialized resources. In addition, Research Analysts serve as subject-matter experts in the use of AI-powered research tools, educating attorneys on effective and responsible adoption, validating AI-generated outputs, and integrating these technologies into research workflows to improve accuracy, efficiency, and overall productivity.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Deliver timely, high quality legal and business research to attorneys and business professionals across the firm; bill research time to client matters as appropriate.
  • Monitor news, litigation, and legislative/regulatory developments and contribute to alerts, updates, newsletters, and internal communications.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of digital research platforms, print collections, interlibrary loan, and document delivery services, including advanced search strategies and licensing requirements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in AI powered research tools, educating users on responsible adoption, validating outputs, and integrating tools into research workflows.
  • Act as a research liaison to assigned practice groups, business professional teams, or topical areas, providing targeted support and expertise.
  • Collaborate with department leadership on research tool evaluation, intranet content, process improvements, and special projects; adhere to service standards and workflows.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to professionalism, delivering high-quality service, and maintaining a positive, solution-oriented ("can-do") approach. Effectively supports internal departments, external clients, and vendors through clear, courteous communication via electronic correspondence, telephone, and in-person interactions.

Education
