Role Summary

Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is searching for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Mission Coordinator – LVC Integration Lead for the Navy Integration Training Environment (NITE) program. The LVC Integration Lead works onsite at the Marine Corps Base Kaneohe Bay, HI supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center‑ Corona (NSWC‑Corona) in providing LVC training for U.S. Marine Corps.

The Mission Coordinator assists with the planning, design, and execution of LVC events for USMC supported training events and provides expert knowledge and solutions in integrating simulation systems and platforms. The Mission Coordinator position is a leadership position that requires interaction with Military, Government and Contractor Leadership. Communication skills are required.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as NSWC‑Corona’s LVC technical and operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of LVC training events. Communicate with leadership on any technical or operational issues and new requirements.
  • Assist in leveraging LVC capabilities and strategies that align with goals of the training program. Oversee implementation of new systems and upgrades to existing systems, ensuring they meet technical standards and training requirements.
  • Work with the Marine Enterprise Training Network (MTEN) and Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) local and remote operators and engineers, and external Joint Live Virtual Constructive (JLVC) teams to coordinate and plan systems and personnel support for events. Adjust daily working hours occasionally to match time zones around the world where events are occurring. Occasional travel is required in support of event planning conferences.
  • Use Confluence and JIRA collaborating tools to share event schedules, documents, and after‑action reports. Identify, document, report, and track issues, while keeping appropriate technical personnel, NSWC‑Corona, BSC leadership, and other stakeholders informed of status.
Requirements
  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Must currently hold and be able to maintain a U.S. Secret clearance, with the ability to upgrade to a U.S. Top Secret clearance if required.
  • Construct of Operational and Tactical Levels of Warfare events to include live virtual constructive.
  • Well‑developed personal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools.
Preferred Requirements
  • Prior military service leadership level highly desired.
  • Tactical Training Range operations and management.
  • Knowledge of Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) systems and operations.
  • Knowledge of Marine Constructive Suite, Joint Semi‑Automated Forces (JSAF) simulation or other HLA/DIS modeling tools.
  • USMC combat and training systems or Aviation combat and training systems.
Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
