Requirements:

The Military Health Client Executive will serve as a relationship lead focusing on understanding client goals, driving adoption of DHA capabilities, and identifying opportunities for optimization and growth while maintaining strong, trust-based client partnerships to support long-term success. This role will also support market expansion, align solutions to DHA and Military Health System priorities, and help implement our growth strategy.

  • Build and maintain relationships within DHA and target directorates, program offices, and senior leaders to identify needs and align with Commence's solutions.
  • Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams to strategize and engage prospective clients to understand business challenges and deliver compelling presentations, solution demonstrations, proposals, and oral presentations that result in new business revenue.
  • Partner with leadership, capture, and support groups to develop and execute strategic and tactical plans that identify and shape new opportunities across DHA, the Services' medical commands, and the broader Military Health System.
  • Support execution of Commence's growth strategies, including effective and strategic qualification of opportunities.
  • Support policy summarization and impacts, including TRICARE policy, DHA procedural instructions, and DoD health affairs guidance.
  • Support continual development and progression of a pipeline of new business opportunities within DHA and the Military Health System.
  • Work with growth team to establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with business development, capture, and proposal team as assigned to support opportunity pursuit efforts.
  • Maintain regular contact with senior and executive-level decision makers, including DHA directorate leads and Service medical command leadership, to ensure alignment and strengthen partnership.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years working with DHA, Service medical commands, or the Military Health System in leadership or related/relevant roles
  • Knowledge of military healthcare delivery systems, TRICARE, and the direct and purchased care model frameworks
  • Understanding of DHA's technology strategy and modernization initiatives
  • Proven track record building and managing relationships with DHA officials, Health Affairs leadership, or defense health policy leaders
  • Familiarity with DHA's priorities and how its business and technology needs translate into opportunities and procurement.
