Cleared Security Escort Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Work Location: Springfield, Virginia Schedule: 8 Hours a Day / Monday - Friday Clearance: Top Secret / SCI Patriot Group International LLC. We are looking to hire Cleared Security Escorts to join our team in the Northern Virginia area, where we provide escorting services for our customer. This position is responsible for escorting and monitoring visitors to secure sites including access control through confirmation of identification, conducting inspection of visitors and hand-carried items, and always maintaining line-of-sight on visitors. This is a full-time permanent role. This position reports to the Cleared Security Escort Manager. The Cleared Security Escort will be responsible for the following: * Develop, maintain, and continuously improve knowledge of written post orders, policies, procedures and standards of conduct
* Escort and monitor visitors to and in designated areas within the site, including access control through confirmation of identification, conducting inspection of visitors and hand-carried items
* Maintain visitor access logs in accordance with post orders and/or company guidance
* Report and/or respond to incidents, security, and safety concerns in accordance with established post orders
* Guide, follow, observe and direct individuals throughout the site
* Prevent the disclosure/loss of sensitive or confidential information
* Assist in controlling physical and electronic locks, unlocking / locking doors and areas
* Prevent theft of physical or intellectual property
* Assist in promoting communication and awareness of data center security policies to client employees, vendors, contractors and others
* Maintain standards of competency, conduct, appearance, and integrity, including compliance with PGI policies and the Client's Code of Conduct and Uniform Policy
* Execute and deliver various reports assigned by the Cleared Security Escort Manager
* Complete and maintain pre-assignment, client, State, and PGI sustainment training as directed
* Assist in team collateral duties
* Position has ongoing training requirements, many of them to be completed in an online environment.
* Ability to travel to local sites in the Northern Virginia area to perform escorting duties.
* Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: * A minimum of one (1) year as a security escort, or one year of local, state, or federal law enforcement experience
* A minimum of 21 years of age
* Ability to complete a security officer training course and conduct regularly scheduled sustainment training
* Ability to operate various security screening related equipment.
* Must have reliable transportation during all seasons
* Firm grasp on the use and implementation of technology, programs, and applications on data bearing devices.
* Strong ability to learn new technology systems and programs. Ability to troubleshoot and work through user level issues with technology platforms and applications.
* Ability to demonstrate professional communication via verbal, written, and email correspondence
* Must have High School diploma or GED
* Ability to complete Security Guard Certification including the application process, fingerprints, and background investigation
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and periodic random drug screening Required Security Clearance: * Top Secret / SCI Preferred Qualifications: * Current State issued Security Guard Certification
* A minimum of one (1) year of honorable military service, active or reserve, in any branch of the US Armed Forces
* Two (2) years of security, military, or law enforcement experience
* Demonstrated history of safe and successful security operations experience in highly secure facilities
