THIS POSITION IS FOR FORT WORTH AREA PLUMBING APPRENTICES ONLY!

Job Description:

  • Installing residential drain, waste, and vent piping
  • Ensuring everything installed to state, city and Milestone standards
  • Acquiring knowledge, experience, and hours towards plumbing license
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Being willing to learn the Milestone system
  • Providing a memorable experience for each customer

Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Valid Apprentice Plumbing license through Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners required
  • 3-6 months residential install experience preferred
  • Clean driving record and current valid drivers license
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent work ethic and leadership skills
  • Works well in team environment

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and move items of 75 pounds and/or more on regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces
  • Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis for extended periods
  • Must be able to work in cramped or high places such as attics, ladders and tunnels
  • Must be able to carry heavy items up and down stairs
  • Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, rain, snow or sleet
  • Must have mental skills such as critical thinking , problem solving, and a technical vocabulary to understand direction and adhere to established procedures.
  • Must be willing to adapt well in the face of workplace stressors such as customer service complaints.
  • Must be able to complete a Job Physical Assessment
