Job description

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Superintendent located in Los Angeles, CA. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for managing construction sites, ensuring safety regulations, organizing and budgeting projects, and overseeing project management.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to establish project schedules, coordinate resources, and monitor progress.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of site supervisors, foremen, and other construction personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, identify and address any issues or obstacles, and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Review and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation on-site.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers, including monitoring their performance, resolving conflicts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Implement and enforce site safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings, and promoting a culture of safety among all on-site personnel.
  • Collaborate with project managers to manage project budgets, track project costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and site photographs.

Requirements
  • Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, preferably in mid-sized or larger firms.
