JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex, strategic enterprise customer implementations across the organization's software and services portfolio. This role serves as the primary project leader for high value customers, managing cross functional initiatives that require executive level communication, comprehensive project governance, and coordination across multiple internal and external stakeholders. The Senior Project Manager develops and executes implementation strategies, proactively manages project risks, drives organizational alignment, and ensures enterprise customers achieve successful adoption while meeting agreed upon timelines, scope, and business objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead end to end implementation projects for enterprise and strategic customers, managing all phases from project kickoff through successful go live and transition to Customer Success.
  • Serve as the primary project contact for executive customer stakeholders, providing strategic guidance, status updates, and issue resolution throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocations, and governance frameworks to ensure successful project execution.
  • Coordinate cross functional teams including Professional Services, Sales, Client Success, Support, Training, Product, Engineering, Billing, and third party vendors.
  • Facilitate executive steering committee meetings, project status reviews, risk assessments, and decision making sessions.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, scope changes, and escalations while maintaining alignment with customer expectations and organizational priorities.
  • Drive accountability across internal teams to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and project milestones are achieved.
  • Manage multiple concurrent enterprise implementations with varying complexity, timelines, and stakeholder groups.
  • Partner with customer leadership to understand business objectives, operational workflows, technical requirements, and organizational readiness.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to coordinate integrations, data migration, networking requirements, system configuration, and testing activities.
  • Ensure implementation documentation, project artifacts, and communication plans remain current throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project health using established KPIs and provide accurate forecasting of timelines, risks, and resource needs.
  • Lead project change management activities, including scope evaluation, impact analysis, and stakeholder communication.
  • Facilitate post implementation reviews and identify opportunities to improve implementation methodologies, tools, documentation, and customer experience.
  • Contribute to the development and standardization of enterprise implementation processes, project templates, governance models, and best practices.
  • Mentor implementation team members and provide guidance on complex customer engagements when needed.

KNOWLEDGE and REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise software implementation methodologies and project management best practices
  • Experience managing large scale, cross functional implementation projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience facilitating executive meetings and steering committees
  • Ability to proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
  • Knowledge of software implementation lifecycle and customer onboarding best practices
  • Familiarity with pharmacy management systems, healthcare software, or healthcare operations preferred
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, TaskRay, Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint preferred

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum years of work experience: 5 years
  • Project Manager Certification is preferred
  • Minimum level of education or experience: Bachelors or equivalent experience
  • Pharmacy and or Healthcare related experience
  • Prior project management experience
