Overview

Act as part of Professional Services’ team, work productively with other Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, and other internal & external interfaces such as Industry and Product Development teams to ensure that the customer succeeds in their objectives.

Responsible for providing specialist migration expertise by consulting, advising, recommending migration solutions based on own experience and industry best practices, forprojects/programswithin country/vertical, in order for the data migration to be delivered successfully.

Support project/program management activities to control scope, cost, schedule and quality and in line with program & project processes and messaging, interact with the customer to support the management of customer expectations and support customer adoption.

Works under self-management within project/program and/or task constraints and provide input to define solutions, methods and procedures on assignments. Guide and advise other architects and consultants within projects/programs, on design, configuration and deployment of migration solutions.

Contribute to Community of Practice for own area of specialist knowledge, promoting adoption within country by sharing of knowledge and lessons learnt within Country.

Your Impact

  • In conjunction with the senior project leadership and account team, apply stakeholder management methods to support successful adoption of PLM solution.
  • Drive consistency within country/zone business by participating in solution design reviews oncustomer accounts for own area of specialism on key projects/program; facilitating andarbitrating design decisions, contributing to global guidelines and standards.
  • Define migration strategy keeping the end solution (Teamcenter schema and processes) in mind.
  • Facilitate workshops, document outcomes, and deliver scalable, value-driven solutions.
  • Help customers achieve complex digital transformations, by ensuring their legacy system data is migrated successfully in Teamcenter.
  • Help customer achieve business process transformation with data migration as one of the enablers.
  • Design and develop migration strategy that enables customer’s adoption of Teamcenter as their PLM solution.
  • Mentor others across the zone as senior technical architectural authority for PLM solutions across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for providing specialist migration expertise and technical leadershipby consulting, advising, recommendingmigration solutions based on own experience and industry best practices, for complex projects/programswithin country/vertical/zone in order for the Siemens PLM Software solution to be delivered successfully and provide value to the customer.
  • Act as responsible technical architect forSales pursuits and bid process within Country/Vertical/Zone engagements, contributing to the generation of customer response documentation and providing guidance through the complexity ofmigration/data exchange options for PLM strategy and long term roadmap.
  • Forimportantprograms/projects within Country/Zoneengagements, provide advice and guidance to Solution Architects through the provision of specific PLM Solution knowledge to support solution architect early project activities such as business use case creation and alignment and template identification and mapping.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal or external customers technical peers and build new relationships through networking within the customer and other involved parties to support effective delivery
  • Set and manage stakeholders' expectations within his own domain of influence.
  • Understand the context of the customer project/program, its contract type, key deliverables and engagement model.
  • Contribute to estimate time frames, work package breakdown, resources estimates required to successfully implement integration / migration aspects of the program
  • Provide accurate and timely information to program/project management team
  • Contribute to the generation of relevant level of project support documentation related to integration and migration solution delivery, in line with Siemens or customer Project Management Methodology
  • Contribute to quality and phase gate reviews as required and ensure proper leverage and alignment to the Success Program
  • Contribute to the review of technical implementation experiences with project delivery team, capturing and sharing lessons learnt as part of the project review and close activities
  • Effectively apply project change management rules to the project
  • Guide customers through migration solutions and help them understand why a particular strategy would better than the others.
  • Lead customer workshops and document business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful migration.
  • Support and/or lead mapping activities in sync with the solution design and configuration.
  • Generate validation reports after every migration iteration to assess the quality of migration and the quantity of data migrated.
  • Investigate and resolve complex migration requirements/issues independently, applying creative problem-solving approaches.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practice development.
  • Review, categorize and prioritize escalated customer migration related issues from Implementation & Associate consultants, co-ordinate root cause analysis, define appropriate solution approach and communicate to customer.
  • Lead the interaction with product development on migration related issues that are impacting the performance or the functionality of the customers’ solution, registering and tracking customer specific PR's where appropriate.
  • Act as a thought leader for Technical Architecture practice, maintaining an understanding of latest technical, process and industry trends, and apply these in everyday role (usage of the delivery framework and Best practice sharing).
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and MES concepts.
  • Willingness to travel 25–50% and work remotely or a nearby Siemens office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Teamcenter, BMIDE, and other Siemens’ platforms/solutions.
  • Familiarity with business processes in one or more industries: Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Consumer Packaged Goods, Medical Device.
  • Technical skills in one or more of the following: scripting languages (primarily SQL), database management, C#, Mendix, integration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software deployment frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience managing and administrating Teamcenter.
  • U.S. persons (U.S. citizen or U.S. lawful permanent resident - green card holder) as defined by U.S. export control regulations preferred.
  • Familiarity and/or experience with AI and LLMs a huge plus.

The pay range for this position is $146,700 - $293,400 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
