ALMCO has been in business for over 80 years manufacturing quality industrial parts washers, industrial deburring, polishing, and tumbling equipment. Leading companies in automotive, aerospace, medical, ammunition, construction, fasteners, and many other industries trust ALMCO for high-quality equipment, media, and ongoing service.

Position Description:

Set up and operate a press to perform accurate work. Performs minor repairs of dies and determines when maintenance is required. Operation of equipment during production run and make any necessary adjustments. 


Essential Functions:

Performs sheet metal operations to fabricate a limited variety of units or products of more standard design.

May do layout work.

Able to operate all types of sheet metal machines to cut bend or form parts and uses sheet metal hand tools.

Plans, lays out and performs all types of sheet metal operations to fabricate wide variety of units or products of complex design involving close tolerances.

Must set up and operate all types of sheet metal machines to cut, bend or form parts.

Uses a variety of sheet metal hand tools and measuring instruments.

Uses shop mathematics.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

High Mechanical aptitude

Strong organizational skills

Proficient with precision measuring instruments

Must be able to read blueprints

May require some heavy lifting
