Our creative and innovative team at Design Tanks is hiring a full-time Molding and Manufacturing Engineer to develop and execute efficient new production and molding processes. Your goal is to refine our daily workflows, ensure consistency across production teams, and help set the stage for new product development.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT BECOMING OUR MOLDING AND MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
THE SCHEDULE:
Work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
YOUR ROLE:
  • Leading engineering functions for the FRP tank molding processes, including filament winding, spincast, and molding top/bottom heads
  • Clearly defining and documenting SOPs, work instructions, and audit standards to ensure production consistency across shifts
  • Leading trial plans for new resins, glass rovings, additives, gelcoats, release agents, and liners
  • Properly qualifying materials and updating specifications for new products

OUR REQUIREMENTS:
  • Familiarity with the industry's general concepts, practices, and procedures (required)
  • Familiarity with industry standards, including ASME, ASTM, and ANSI (preferred)
  • Experience working in a production environment (preferred)
  • SolidWorks proficiency (preferred)
