A well-established international manufacturer of electrical insulation materials, technical laminates, fiber-reinforced composites, and other engineered material solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new customer acquisition, territory growth, and revenue development.

This individual-contributor role is designed for a commercially driven business development or industrial sales professional with a track record of opening new accounts, developing markets, and building qualified B2B pipelines. What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle - from prospecting and opportunity qualification through solution positioning, pricing, negotiation, closing, and account growth.
  • Drive new business for high-performance materials, technical laminates, reinforced materials, electrical insulation solutions, and engineered components.
  • Build relationships with OEMs, industrial manufacturers, fabricators, converters, and specialty distributors across mobility, commercial and specialty vehicles, rail, automation, and other industrial applications.
  • Identify new market opportunities, develop assigned territories and customer segments, and convert commercial strategy into sustainable, profitable revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, manufacturing, and commercial teams across the United States, Mexico, and Germany to advance customer opportunities.

What You Bring

  • Proven track record in industrial B2B sales, business development, territory sales, regional sales, technical sales, sales engineering, market development, or a comparable commercial role within engineered materials, composites, plastics, insulation, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated success opening new accounts, developing territories or market segments.
  • Experience selling engineered materials, technical products, components, or industrial solutions into manufacturing environments.
  • Strong prospecting, consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, self-directed, and organized working style with strong commercial judgment.
  • Willingness to travel 5070% throughout North America.

Why Join

  • Target base salary around $110k, commensurate with experience
  • Attractive performance-based variable compensation
  • 100% employer-paid medical coverage
  • 1214 company-observed holidays annually
  • Company-supported dental and vision coverage
  • Employer-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance
  • Retirement savings participation with company match
  • A progressive paid time-off structure that increases with tenure
  • Structured onboarding through local mentorship
