Overview

At Midwest Dental, supported by Smile Brands, we believe every great patient experience begins with a warm welcome. We're looking for a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Patient Care Coordinator with oral surgery or implant experience to join our team in Portage, WI. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients, helping create a positive, seamless experience from check-in to check-out.

As the face of our practice, you'll play an essential role in building lasting relationships with patients while keeping the front office running efficiently. From coordinating appointments and verifying insurance to answering questions and supporting daily operations, you'll help ensure every patient feels valued, informed, and cared for throughout their visit.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients and provide a friendly, professional first impression.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the daily provider schedule.
  • Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with financial information.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and coordinate follow-up care.
  • Process patient paperwork and maintain accurate electronic records.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
  • Support office operations while maintaining a positive, organized, and efficient front desk environment.

Qualifications
  • Previous dental front office or healthcare customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience in oral surgery or implant coordination strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience with dental insurance verification and treatment coordination is a plus.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to outstanding patient care.
