Job description

A major oil and gas producer is looking for an Operations Trainer to join their team for their facility just south of Grande Prairie. The successful candidate will work a 4/3 schedule and will live in the surrounding area as no camp or accommodations are provided. Previous experience in competency assessment, training or mentorship is strongly preferred.
Additional requirements include:
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in gas plant operations
  • Previous experience with procedure writing strongly preferred
  • Valid Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, Common Safety Orientation
  • Clean driving abstract required
  • Capable of passing pre-employment drug & alcohol test
  • Must be able to work with no or little supervision, as well as within a team
