Job Description Successful established Oil & Gas company is looking for a Midstream Controller to join its Dallas, Texas team. Will be responsible for leadership, coordination and development of the Company's Midstream & Marketing accounting team to ensure compliance with GAAP other reporting requirements. The Midstream Controller manages a small staff and needs to be knowledgeable about midstream accounting and related issues.

The Midstream Controller also works closely with outside audit professionals, the Chief Accounting Officer, and the Upstream Controller to ensure all compliance activities are executed in accordance with statutory regulations. Duties include: Manage and develop the staff of accounting professionals responsible forfull-cycle midstream and marketing accounting Review monthly midstream revenue uploads from TIES Review monthly financial performance of the Midstream & Marketing group Prepare monthly midstream operating statement by entity and midstream system Collaborate with management to identify, implement and continually improve the corporate performance measure, oversee the development and ongoing maintenance of scorecard reports Collaborate and build a strong internal working relationship with operational leadership and staff to ensure strong communication and teamwork across various disciplines Solid leadership quality able to guide and counsel direct reports to achieve professional goals while uniting and building a stronger team Oversee accounting operations including the adequacy of internal controls Administer design and implement financial information systems and seek ways to improve financial reporting and controls Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA certification preferred, but not required Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, and tax At least 5 years of experience in a financial management or leadership position within a company with midstream experience TIES experience required Extensive experience in midstream accounting Enertia accounting software experience preferred, but not required.

Proactive and detail-oriented, capable of monitoring financial systems and controls, and an ability to make necessary changes to upgrade systems, policies and procedures Ability to initiate change management in the areas of accounting policy and procedures and processes necessary to streamline and optimize financial systems, staff and related control infrastructure A proven track record in building trust and establishing a good rapport with operational and administrative team members as well as key eternal contacts including auditors and tax expert Please let us know if you would like to learn more for yourself or for your network.
