A cocktail-forward concept rooted in connection, Middleman is designed to bring people together over thoughtfully crafted drinks. Located between Alla Vita and Momotaro, it serves as a welcoming gathering space where guests can explore creative cocktails, small-batch Tennessee whiskeys, and rare spirits. With a program focused on discovery and a design inspired by European arcades, Middleman offers a stylish yet approachable environment for conversation, exploration, and shared experiences.
The Role

Working closely with the General Manager and Front of House leadership team, the Cocktail Server is responsible for delivering an exceptional experience by guiding guests through all aspects of service. This role is integral to maintaining the flow of service, upholding hospitality standards, and ensuring each guest leaves with a memorable experience.


What You’ll Do
  • Provide attentive and knowledgeable food and beverage service in accordance with restaurant standards
  • Follow established steps of service to ensure a seamless and high-quality guest experience
  • Manage an assigned section while directing support staff to maintain proper flow of service
  • Accurately enter all food and beverage orders to support timely and efficient service
  • Handle all guest payments and transactions with accuracy and accountability
  • Verify identification for all alcohol purchases in accordance with company and legal standards
  • Maintain strong menu knowledge, including food, beverage, and allergy information
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests to anticipate needs and exceed expectations
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency to support smooth and efficient service
  • Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
  • Complete daily checkout procedures, including balancing cash and credit transactions
  • Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing duties thoroughly and efficiently
