Job description

Requires US Citizenship Employment Term and Type: Regular, Full Time Required Security Clearance: Secret Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent Job Description: Assist with the design and implementation of upgrades for MARCENT voice, video, LAN/WAN networks. Maintain equipment for VoIP and video conferencing. Recommend and integrate new technologies.

Optimize data center infrastructure. Provide support during core and after-hours including weekly maintenance. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * Contractor shall configure and maintain equipment in support of voice over IP and video teleconferencing.

* Contractor shall recommend new technologies for use with operational sites. * Contractor shall optimize data center infrastructure for enhanced functionality, security and management. * Contractor shall assist with architecture and implementation of network and security solutions that meet or exceed internal and external command requirements by working closely with the users.

* Contractor shall coordinate efficiently and effectively, at all levels of the organization, with all classifications. * Support a client base of customers in a service oriented environment. * Contractor shall ensure services are provided to cover core hours of 0600 to 1800 Monday thru Friday (excluding Federal Holidays and maintenance schedule hours) and, when required, be available for after core hours consultation and recall.

* Contractor shall support the system maintenance scheduled every Thursday from 1900 to 2300. Required Qualifications * DoD IAT Level 1 or above (or SEC+); NET+ * Voice/Video Network Certification (preferably CISCO) * 8+ years' experience in service IT Networking MOS and voice, video, local and wide area networks, VoIP, and VTC * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Must be willing to work hours scheduled between the hours of 0600 - 1800 Mon - Fri, and must arrange for contractor team support every Thu from 1900 - 2300 * Current passport and be willing to travel and work OCONUS Education Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent Security Clearance Requirements: * Secret Physical, Work Environment & Conditions: (please update) * Typical office environment: * Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods. * Occasional standing while working in server rooms or at patch panels.

* Must be able to lift and move moderately heavy equipment (e.g., routers, switches, servers) typically up to 30-50 pounds. * Manual Dexterity required for connecting cables, configuring devices, and handling small tools or components. * Must be able to view computer screens for long periods.

* Ability to distinguish color-coded cabling and indicator lights. * Must be able to climb ladders or crawl in tight spaces for cable runs or equipment installation. * May require walking between different buildings or workstations.
