Middle School Electives Teacher Must Have One of the Following Qualifications:
Educational Technology (NP)
Computer Science (NR)
Technology and Design (TX)
Music Education (JX or JQ)
Visual Arts (LQ)
Building: Lakeview Middle School
Reports to: Middle School Principal
Employment Status: Full time
Description: To provide engaging instruction in elective courses to Lakeview Middle School students (Grades 4-7). The teacher will respect and maintain confidentiality of student information. Other duties include, but are not limited to, developing/facilitating parent engagement activities, communicating regularly with parents and colleagues about student achievement. Participating in district team meeting; and maintaining accurate records of student data.
QUALIFICATIONS: Valid MI Drivers License
Must possess Valid MI Teacher Certification
Meets Michigan's teaching certification requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to lead and/or engage in extra and co-curricular activities
Ability to develop respect based relationships with students and parent
