Job description

Division Sales & Operations Manager
The Division Sales & Operations Manager will be the primary contact between the Division Vice President and the Regional Sales Managers (RSM). 50% of the role is strategic planning and 50% is directing the activities of the Regional Sales Managers. The Division Sales & Operations Manager will help develop the strategies to improve Division operations, grow sales and profits while increasing the value of our franchise network, and growing new stores.
Job Responsibilities
  • Lead Regional Sales Managers and Midas Franchisees in the improvement of store operations and operational excellence leading to the growth of retail sales, increasing dealer profitability, growing the franchisee's business while upholding Midas' best practices, polices, and procedures.
  • Focus on growing car count while employing proper strategies to enable Midas franchisees to say yes to every customer.
  • Develop tactics to transform the Midas Business Model from a "basic services hop" to a full service tire destination and total car care retailer.
  • Oversees all things operational within the Division: Serves as point of contact across the Regions and Shared Service groups for issues and troubleshooting. Lead and direct all Divisional activities with the guidance of the Division Vice President.
  • Participates in local Franchise Development sales events.
  • Supervise the schedules of Regional Sales Manager sand participates in Cold Calling of competitive independent tire and auto repair dealers to discuss converting their business to Midas or potentially selling their business to existing Midas dealers.
  • Works with Regional Sales Managers and Franchisees to orient them to The Midas Way, understanding the Midas System, working through start-up issues, and helping them become proficient with all things operational.
  • Orchestrates and Coordinate Key Meetings, Leads, Guides, and Directs Field Teams: Creates the tactics to drive Same Store Sales growth, New Store growth, Save Store programs and to positively impact EBITDA.
  • Franchise Integration: Leads and directs the day to day activities of the Regional Sales Managers and Field Operations Managers. Anticipates needs and coordinates activities across the Division they are assigned.
  • Measurements and Tools: Tracks and reports on Division KPIs.
  • Orchestrates and Coordinate Key Meetings, Leads, Guides, and Directs Field Teams: Creates the tactics to drive Same Store Sales growth, New Store growth, Save Store programs and to positively impact EBITDA.
  • Franchise Integration: Leads and directs the day to day activities of the Regional Sales Managers and Field Operations Managers. Anticipates needs and coordinates activities across the Division they are assigned.
  • Measurements and Tools: Tracks and reports on Division KPIs.

Qualifications
  • 10 + years Management experience with similar employer/industry
  • 6 + years of experience in customer care/ satisfaction in a retail environment
  • Previous experience in a fast paced environment requiring strict organization, efficiency, and attention to detail
  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • A clear understanding of income statements, balance sheet management, and cash flow
  • Knowledge of best practices for customer experience management and the customer lifecycle
  • Ability implement and monitor a strong internal quality improvement program
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management or a related field of study
  • The Division Sales & Operations Manager is required to reside within assigned Region
  • Approximately 50% travel expected
