Job Summary:

The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. They ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project schedules and budgets.
  • Supervise and manage construction crews and subcontractors.
  • Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Resolve construction-related issues and problems.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with building codes.
  • Close out projects upon completion.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management.
  • Experience with construction project management software.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Work Environment:

  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary (Monday to Sunday with some overnight work) and overtime is frequently required.
  • This position is safety sensitive in nature, which means employees perform duties so fraught with risks of injury to self or others, or environmental injury, that even a momentary lapse of concentration or attention can have disastrous consequences.
