ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a Service Parts Buyer/Coordinator to own procurement and fulfillment coordination for our ~800-part service BOM across the FN Truck and FN SUV programs. This person will source from our production supply base, manage packaging and logistics for a multi-channel distribution model, set MOQs, and coordinate subassembly builds at our Warsaw facility. OEM aftermarket or service parts experience is strongly preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sourcing & Procurement
  • Own procurement of ~800 service parts sourced from the FN Truck and FN SUV production supply base
  • Manage RFQ processes, negotiate pricing and terms, and execute purchase orders
  • Establish MOQs aligned with demand forecasts; benchmark pricing and drive cost reduction

Packaging, Logistics & Fulfillment
  • Define packaging specs and manage logistics across all fulfillment channels
  • Coordinate direct-ship programs (supplier → customer or repair center), 3PL warehouse fulfillment, and subassembly build/ship from the Warsaw production facility
  • Partner with 3PL provider on receiving, storage, pick/pack, and distribution processes

Operations & Cross-Functional Support
  • Maintain accurate service parts data: lead times, sourcing status, and inventory levels
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality to ensure parts meet service and warranty specs
  • Support BOM changes driven by new model year updates or mid-cycle engineering changes
  • Serve as the primary purchasing contact for service operations and customer experience teams

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5-10 years of purchasing or supply chain experience in automotive or manufacturing
  • OEM service parts, aftermarket procurement, or dealer/repair network supply experience - strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of service packaging, MOQ management, and direct-ship logistics models
  • Strong negotiation skills; experience managing suppliers within a production supply base
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar); service parts systems experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
