Staying current with product updates and industry trends also helps in proactively addressing client concerns and fostering long-term relationships.

What are Mid Market Solutions?

Mid Market Solutions refer to products, services, or software designed specifically to meet the needs of medium-sized businesses. These solutions bridge the gap between offerings for small businesses, which may lack advanced features, and enterprise-level products, which can be too complex or costly. Mid Market Solutions often focus on scalability, ease of integration, and cost-effectiveness, providing the right balance of functionality and support. Companies in this segment look for solutions that help them grow efficiently without the resource constraints of larger enterprises.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Mid-Market Solutions Manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Mid-Market Solutions Manager, you need strong sales acumen, deep understanding of mid-market customer needs, and experience in solution selling, often supported by a bachelor's degree in business or a related field. Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce, sales enablement tools, and industry-specific software is typically required. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills help you stand out in managing complex client accounts. These competencies enable you to effectively identify client challenges, tailor solutions, and drive business growth in a competitive market.

Job description

About the Role
As a Mid-Market Solutions Engineer at Cyberhaven, you will play a vital role in supporting our Mid-market and SMB Sales teams. You'll be responsible for assisting with opportunities throughout the pre-sales process-from initial qualification through production hand-off-primarily focusing on accounts with fewer than 2,500 employees. This position requires a blend of technical acumen and strong communication skills to deliver compelling product messaging and demonstrations. You'll guide technical product evaluations, build and maintain key partner relationships, enable and support channel partners, and collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering. Your contributions and field insights will help drive continuous product improvement and foster success in a channel-driven sales model.
What you'll do
  • Support the Mid-market and SMB Sales teams with opportunities in a pre-sales capacity from qualification through production hand-off. Generally, these are accounts with less than 2,500 employees.
  • Learn, create, and deliver compelling messaging and demonstrations of products and solutions that differentiate from competitors or legacy solutions.
  • Guide technical evaluations via POC ownership, and manage the evaluation process to a successful conclusion.
  • Maintain key partner technical relationships and effectively enable and demonstrate channel partners to excel in a channel-driven sales model.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams on new feature releases and provide feedback on current feature capabilities based on field experience/input.

Who you are
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar role, specializing in complex pre-sales activities within an enterprise cybersecurity environment.
  • 2-3 years of experience deploying endpoint agents on Windows and Mac platforms.
  • Prior experience with data protection technologies (DLP, IRM, DSPM, CASB).
  • Strong sales presence and excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under pressure.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Open to travel
