This role bridges design and engineering, focusing on creating seamless user experiences while delivering production-ready front-end solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in user experience design, front-end development, and usability principles, with the ability to translate complex technical workflows into clean, efficient, and accessible interfaces. This individual will work closely with backend engineers, product owners, and end users to improve usability, performance, and overall user satisfaction.

What you get to do every day: * UI/UX Design & Implementation: Design and develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces for web-based applications * User Experience Optimization: Translate complex workflows into simple, efficient user experiences that improve usability and adoption * Front-End Development: Build and maintain front-end components using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or similar) * Usability & Accessibility: Ensure applications meet usability standards and accessibility best practices * Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain consistent design patterns, components, and style guides * User Research & Feedback: Gather and incorporate user feedback to continuously improve interface design and functionality * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to align UI/UX with system capabilities * Performance Optimization: Improve front-end performance, responsiveness, and scalability Qualifications Clearance Required: Active TS clearance (with SCI Eligibility) and eligibility to obtain CI Poy Education/Experience: * Requires Bachelor's degree * 4-8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or 2-6 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree Required Skills: * Strong experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) * Experience with modern UI frameworks (React, Angular, etc.) * Demonstrated experience designing user-centered interfaces for complex applications * Understanding of UX principles, usability, and interaction design * Experience working in Linux-based environments * Ability to translate user needs into functional design solutions What is ideal? * Experience with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) * Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Grafana or similar) * Familiarity with REST APIs and backend integration * Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and front-end deployment workflows * Experience working in Agile environments * Experience designing and developing intuitive user interfaces for data-driven GEOINT applications. * Intelligence Community Experience preferred What you can expect from us * Recognizing great achievements do not go unnoticed by bcore through service anniversaries, spot awards, and employee referral bonuses * You'll join a growing organization of passionate, top-shelf, IT engineering professionals with extensive experience in actively developing the technology revolution in the Intelligence community * Highlights of our benefits include Health/Dental/Vision, 401(k) match, Universal Leave, STD/LTD/Life Insurance/Voluntary Life Insurance, Stipends, Referral Bonuses, and more!

* The expected salary range for this position is $87,100.00 - $157,450.00 . Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. BCore is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
