About this Role
NorthStar Energy Solutions is Hiring!
Work will consist of installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs to electrical systems and associated materials and equipment within the high-voltage transmission industry.
Perform duties necessary to complete assigned tasks under the direct supervision of Field Leadership. Employees should keep all materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly fashion and maintain a clean work area at all times. Demonstrating safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment.

What You'll Do
  • Assist with the construction, framing, and installation of transmission structures, hardware, and components.
  • Climb wood and steel structures using proper climbing techniques and fall-protection equipment.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment used in line construction.
  • Install and maintain conductors, insulators, guy wires, and grounding systems.
  • Support stringing, sagging, and tensioning operations under supervision.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and assist with repairs on energized and de-energized lines (within apprentice-level restrictions).
  • Read and interpret construction drawings, staking sheets, and work orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring tools and materials are properly handled.
  • Follow all company safety rules, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing training, skills assessments, and apprenticeship program requirements.
