JOB TITLE - Mid-Level Java developer
Location: Arlington, VA; Bethesda, MD
Travel: < 5%
Start Date: Immediately
Clearance Requirement: Public Trust
TAX TERM:- C2C, W2
Project Duration:-1 Year+
Hourly Rate-70$
Visa Status:- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Legal Permanent Resident(GC/EAD)
Job Summary: The Senior Associate, Technology is a member of the project team who takes responsibility that will include coding, unit testing, using design patterns, learning new technologies, and becoming an expert in one part of the system.
Qualified applicants must be detail-oriented, result-driven individuals who work well within team environments and have good interpersonal skills, as well as good client interaction skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new code and/or support operations, maintenance, and enhancements of existing code.
  • Develop conceptual and technical design including use of OOA and OOD techniques.
  • Conduct multiple levels of testing including unit, system, integration and performance.

Experience Guidelines:
  • At least 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong problem identification and analytical skills
  • Ability to plan and manage time and resources, establish priorities and meet goals
  • Must be detail-oriented and proactive about communicating status and progress.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to create and deliverclear reports and documentation.
  • Experience working in small to medium-sized teams
  • Experience developing software in Java (including JSP and servlets) and JavaScript.
  • Experience working in a Unix or Linux environment.
  • Experience developing software involving database queries, e.g. SQL.
  • Desired but not required experience includes proficiency with Python, Perl, shell scripting (e.g. Bash),distributed computing (e.g., Hadoop), and information retrieval, text mining, or other analytical

Required Skills:
  • Java, J2EE, Maven, Jenkins, SVN, Shell Scripting, POM files, and eclipse with various plug-in required
  • Proficient in Spring MVC, Spring Core, Hibernate, JSP, JSF, JQuery, Java Script
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services(AWS)
  • Implementing Database Change processes
  • Linux, Jboss, Tomcat, Mark Logic, Oracle

Education:
Bachelor's Degree required from college or University
