Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking Associate and Mid-Level Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineers to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position will involve working on a variety of tankers and commercial derivative aircraft. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize mechanical systems expertise to make an immediate and long-lasting impact on USAF's large aircraft fleets.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment

  • Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers

  • Performs detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations

  • Performs spatial integration at system or component level and modification of mechanisms/landing gear/ordinance systems

  • Assists in preparing technical documents for mechanical components and systems

  • Assists in supporting proposal preparation and new business development efforts

  • Works under general supervision

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Mid-Level Mechanical Systems Design and Analysis Engineers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)

  • 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

  • Experience with troubleshooting aircraft systems

  • Experience with aircraft modifications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

  • Previous experience working with aircraft fuel systems

  • Master's degree
