Job description

We are looking for a Mid-Level Golang AWS Developer with proven expertise in creating scalable backend solutions, integrating with MongoDB, deploying applications on AWS, and managing containerized environments. This onsite position involves close collaboration with senior engineers and offshore teams to deliver robust, production-ready software.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience building Golang-based microservices, working with cloud-native technologies, and contributing to modern DevOps and observability practices. Experience with Java and automotive domain applications is a strong plus.
This role requires strong technology adaptability, with the ability to work across multiple programming languages and frameworks based on business needs.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Golang microservices using Gorilla Mux and gRPC frameworks.
  • Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend APIs and distributed systems.
  • Create efficient MongoDB queries and perform CRUD operations following best schema design practices
  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, EKS, EC2, and S3.
  • Containerize microservices using Docker and manage deployments with Helm and Kubernetes.
  • Implement observability using OpenTelemetry and configure monitoring dashboards and alerts in Datadog.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development using GitLab CI and GitHub Actions.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and production support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, offshore teams, architects, QA, and DevOps engineers.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Follow software engineering best practices including TDD, secure coding, and Git workflows.

Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of software development experience.
  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on Golang development experience.
  • Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
  • Practical experience with MongoDB integration, aggregation, and query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in AWS cloud environments.
  • Experience with AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or GitLab CI.
  • Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Datadog, and observability concepts.
  • Working knowledge of Linux scripting and shell commands.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Git workflows.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work in a technology-agnostic environment and adapt across multiple programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Go, Java, or others) as required by project needs.

Preferred / Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Automotive industry experience (connected vehicles, telematics, infotainment systems, EV platforms, fleet management, mobility solutions).
  • Experience with IoT platforms or vehicle telemetry systems.
  • Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven architectures.
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
  • Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Experience with AI/ML systems, LLM integration, or AI-driven backend services.
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks, data pipelines, or intelligent automation use cases.
  • Agile/Scrum development experience.
