Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Java Springboot Developer for a contract position in Charlotte, NC. The role requires extensive experience in microservices architecture and Java technologies, focusing on designing and implementing RESTful services.
Responsibilities:
• 5+ years of experience in Microservices technologies using Java-8 & Spring Boot
• Deep understanding of a microservices architecture, including professional experience in the design, build, and operations of micro services in a production environment
• Experience designing REST APIs and implementing RESTful web services
• Understanding of SOAP & REST web services
• Good understanding of DevOps
• Experience in designing data persistence system using MongoDB with high level of expertise
• Good understanding of deploying component in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
• Good Understanding of Microservice pattern (Saga/Choreography/Orchestration)
• Good understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodology
• Experience in the management of a small team of IT professionals (desirable).
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5 8 + years overall experience in relevant industries and positions
• 5+ years of experience in Microservices technologies using Java-8 & Spring Boot
• Deep understanding of a microservices architecture, including professional experience in the design, build, and operations of micro services in a production environment
• Experience designing REST APIs and implementing RESTful web services
• Understanding of SOAP & REST web services
• Good understanding of DevOps
• Experience in designing data persistence system using MongoDB with high level of expertise
• Good understanding of deploying component in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
• Good Understanding of Microservice pattern (Saga/Choreography/Orchestration)
• Good understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodology
• Technologies Stack: Java 8 with strong Mongo DB expertise, Spring Framework, MongoDB, Unix, GitHub, 12 Factor principles, Kafka, Postman, JSON
