Job description

Our customer is seeking an Entry to Mid-Level Enterprise Command Center Engineer (NOC) for a 6-month contract. This position is 2nd shift and supports operations and plays a key role in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and infrastructure support.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor enterprise systems and infrastructure using Zenoss as the primary tool

Perform Level 1 troubleshooting across servers and network environments

Support code upgrades and fast reloads behind the scenes

Load code on switches using SecureCRT

Maintain and support Cisco Wireless Controllers:

Utilize tools such as Splunk (Snack), ServiceNow, SharePoint, Mist, and SD-WAN

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure system stability and performance

Qualifications:

Entry to mid-level experience in enterprise IT operations or command center environments

Familiarity with Cisco networking and wireless technologies

Basic server troubleshooting skills:

Experience with monitoring and incident management tools

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during overnight hours

Work Environment:

Hybrid schedule with a mix of remote and on-site work

2nd shift coverage, Monday through Friday
