Job description

FCA is seeking a thoughtful and imaginative Staff Interior Designer to join our collaborative, design-driven studio. This role is ideal for someone who brings curiosity, fresh perspective, and a willingness to push ideas further-while thriving in a supportive, team-oriented environment. You'll contribute to meaningful projects, grow alongside experienced designers, and play a hands-on role in shaping interiors that are both functional and inspiring.

Duties and Responsibilities: Works under the direction of mid- to senior-level interior designers Collaborates with and supports Project and Senior Interior Designers in developing design solutions Demonstrates proficiency in design software used by the office for both drafting and presentations Researches and selects colors, finishes, and materials Prepares design and presentation drawings for interior design projects, including furniture specifications, finish boards, and binders Assists with business development efforts through preparation of presentation materials Builds and maintains effective client relationships Takes initiative to research and apply codes and technical requirementsBachelor's Degree in Interior Design; actively pursuing NCIDQ certification 3 to 5 years of experience; workplace design experience preferred Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3ds Max Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to exercise sound, independent judgment Confidence in contributing ideas and participating in design discussions High attention to detail with an appreciation for thoughtful, creative designBachelor's Degree in Interior Design; actively pursuing NCIDQ certification 3 to 5 years of experience; workplace design experience preferred Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3ds Max Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to exercise sound, independent judgment Confidence in contributing ideas and participating in design discussions High attention to detail with an appreciation for thoughtful, creative design
