Job Description

We are seeking two mid level Maintenance Technicians to join maintenance team at a beverage manufacturing and bottling facility. This role is perfect for individuals with an entry to mid mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills. You will work alongside our maintenance team, supporting production equipment, conveyors, and bottling systems while gaining valuable skills for career progression within our maintenance organization.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on manufacturing and bottling equipment.
  • Support maintenance technicians with equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs and adjustments.
  • Grease chains, lubricate gears, and properly lubricate equipment.
  • Work with conveyors, chains, bearings, motors, and other production equipment.
  • Assist with changing worn or damaged equipment components.
  • Perform basic electrical-related maintenance within skill level.
  • Support maintenance needs throughout the production operation.
  • Learn our equipment, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting processes.

Essential Skills

  • Mechanical aptitude: Understanding of basic mechanical concepts and comfort working on or around machinery.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, including tools, wrenches, sockets, and lubrication equipment.
  • Previous hands-on experience in basic machine maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, or adjustments to equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance, preventative maintenance, or as a lube technician.
  • Previous experience in machine operation with maintenance responsibilities, food/beverage manufacturing, bottling/packaging, conveyor maintenance, etc.
  • Education from trade or technical school, or experience in a mechanical apprenticeship or other mechanically intensive positions.
  • Basic electrical knowledge, conveyor experience, or bottling equipment experience is preferred but not required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
