This role develops independent software tools, evaluates test results, and presents findings to Project Office stakeholders. Responsibilities The desired Mid-Level RADAR Analyst will support the analysis of RADAR and track data in both lab and field test environments.  Primary duties will include the development of independent software and toolsets to analyze RADAR performance and track data and present the results to Project Office stakeholders. Travel Requirements: 25%  Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications & Education Requirements and Desired SkillsetsBachelor's degree in engineering, physics, math or relevant STEM field from an accredited institution.  3-5 years relevant experience.  Strong candidates will have experience in programming in C++ in a Linux environment and a familiarity with tracking and RADAR analysis. Experience with C# Python and/or MATLAB is considered a plus. Candidate must be a self-starter, have the ability to work independently, and as part of a cohesive team in a multi contractor environment.  Must be flexible and able to work in both office and lab environments.  U.S. Citizenship with an Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain/maintain security clearance required.  Physical DescriptionEmployees in these positions will function in a general office/cubicle setting environment, and laboratory/testing setting using standard office equipment and various electronic testing equipment, including a computer, telephone, printers, video equipment, computer software and testing equipment. Will interact in a general office setting environment with various personnel; participate in meetings and contribute to team success; deliver timely results and produce reports; receive and communicate information; may include telework. May function in a specialized laboratory/testing environment using electronic testing equipment, computer software and complex systems. May move and test equipment of various weights. Laboratory environment may require use of protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to safety glasses and protective hearing and footwear.
