Mid-Level Full Stack Developer

Position Overview

The Mid-Level Full Stack Developer will support the design, development, enhancement, testing, and maintenance of web-based applications in support of enterprise system modernization and operations. The developer will work across both front-end and back-end technologies, with a focus on .NET, Angular, and Node.js, supporting full software development lifecycle activities in an Agile/DevOps environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications; developing APIs and microservices; resolving defects; supporting system enhancements; and collaborating with technical, functional, testing, security, and DevOps teams.
Candidates must be based in the Virginia/Washington, DC area and available for hybrid work, including onsite support in Fairfax, Virginia, as required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain full-stack web applications using .NET / ASP.NET, Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
  • Support application modernization, system enhancements, defect resolution, performance improvements, and new feature development.
  • Develop and integrate secure APIs, web services, and microservices in accordance with application architecture and security standards.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
  • Translate user stories, business requirements, and technical specifications into working software.
  • Support front-end development with responsive, accessible, and user-centered design practices.
  • Support back-end development, including business logic, database interaction, data validation, and application integration.
  • Perform unit testing, smoke testing, regression testing support, and troubleshooting across development, test, staging, and production environments.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, source code management, code reviews, release coordination, and deployment activities.
  • Assist with application monitoring, log review, issue diagnosis, and production support.
  • Address security findings, accessibility issues, and software defects in coordination with technical leads, security teams, and QA staff.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design notes, release documentation, and system support materials.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, DevOps engineers, testers, and Government stakeholders.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of professional IT experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience using .NET / ASP.NET and Angular or Node.js.
  • Experience developing and maintaining enterprise web applications.
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid-Agile software development practices.
  • Experience with API development, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git or GitHub.
  • Experience supporting testing, debugging, defect resolution, and production support activities.
