Job description

Low Voltage Technician

Seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician to install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic security systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Systems include fire alarms, intrusion alarms, video surveillance (CCTV), and access control solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise in low-voltage wiring, system programming, commissioning, diagnostics, and customer support.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated technician with the ability to independently complete installations, repairs, and service calls while delivering excellent customer service. Preference will be given to candidates holding NICET Fire Alarm certification and hands-on experience with platforms such as DMP, Resideo, ProdataKey (PDK), and OpenEye.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, program, test, and service low-voltage security and life safety systems.
  • Troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform repairs to maintain optimal performance.
  • Configure fire alarm, intrusion detection, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation.
