Job description

Responsibilities

Technica is seeking a Front End Developer, Senior.  As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, building, and optimizing modern user interfaces that support missioncritical applications. You will lead the development of scalable, highperformance frontend solutions using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and AWShosted environments, ensuring seamless integration with .NET backend services. In this role, you will mentor midlevel developers, set engineering standards, and champion best practices in code quality, accessibility, and performance. You will collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, product owners, and mission stakeholders to deliver intuitive, secure, and reliable user experiences that meet evolving customer and program needs. Drawing on deep technical expertise and strong problemsolving skills, you will help guide architectural decisions, drive continuous improvement, and ensure frontend components operate effectively within enterprisegrade systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of responsive, high-performance user interfaces using Node.js, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Architect modular, maintainable, and scalable UI component libraries aligned with modern engineering standards
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to mid-level and junior frontend developers, including reviewing code, coaching on best practices, and supporting skill development
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend .NET services using REST APIs, JSON, and XML
  • Drive client-side state management patterns, rendering optimization, and performance tuning for enterprise-grade applications
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product owners to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, accessibility guidelines, and quality controls across the frontend codebase
  • Use Git and GitLab for version control, branching strategies, and merge request workflows
  • Troubleshoot complex UI issues across environments, platforms, and browsers, providing root-cause analysis and actionable remediation
  • Operate within AWS cloud-hosted environments and support integration, deployments, and environment troubleshooting
  • Promote a culture of high-quality engineering through code reviews, design reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Support planning, estimation, and architectural discussions for new features and modernization efforts
  • Partner with teams to ensure frontend solutions meet accessibility, security, and performance requirements
  • Review code and container scans and remediate both code and package vulnerabilities on a regular basis.
