Technology and Operations - Developer - Front End III
Location: Silver Spring, Maryland (Remote)
Role Overview
We are actively seeking a motivated Front-end Developer to enhance our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a team player who works well with others but is also able to work independently. As a Front-end Developer, your role could include implementing visual elements for our users, collaborating on new app designs, connecting backend endpoints to front-end views, turning UI/UX designs into responsive pages, and improving existing services.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using multiple frameworks working in Jira and Git.
• Build from user stories and be active in technical design.
• Build efficient, scalable, secure, and observable applications.
• Provide and receive feedback in team meetings and code reviews.
• Build functional and efficient pages for our operational teams.
• Be proactive and responsive in addressing technical issues.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building front-end applications for workflow orchestration platforms such as Temporal, including workflow visualization, status tracking, and operational dashboards.
• 5+ years of solid experience with JavaScript/Typescript and Node.js in conjunction with React.js.
• 5+ years of knowledge of best practices and standards for web development.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JS, and responsive UIs.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling and partial page updates.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

• BA/BS is preferred.
• Background in Media workflows.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to translate technology requirements to internal stakeholders.
