Job description

Mid-Level Data Architect

Location: United States (Hybrid/Remote as per project requirements)

Experience: 4–8 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Data Architect to support the design, implementation, and optimization of modern cloud-based data platforms. Working alongside senior architects, you will help build scalable data solutions, contribute to data modeling efforts, and support enterprise analytics initiatives.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow into a senior architecture position while working on large-scale cloud data projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in designing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses
  • Develop logical and physical data models
  • Support cloud-based data platform implementation
  • Build and optimize data repositories
  • Assist with metadata management and data cataloging
  • Participate in performance tuning activities
  • Support data governance initiatives
  • Work with Data Engineers to implement scalable solutions
  • Assist with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code deployments
  • Support reporting and visualization teams
  • Participate in architecture reviews and design discussions
Required Skills
  • 4–8 years of Data Engineering/Data Architecture experience
  • Experience with Data Warehouses and Data Lakes
  • AWS cloud experience (S3, Redshift, Aurora PostgreSQL or equivalent)
  • Strong SQL
  • Data Modeling
  • ETL/Data Pipeline understanding
  • Databricks or similar cloud analytics platform
  • Basic Terraform or Infrastructure as Code exposure
  • Understanding of Data Governance
