We are seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Cloud Engineer to join our DevOps practice supporting a federal modernization program in Crystal City, VA. You'll bring hands-on experience in either cloud or on-premise infrastructure and grow your expertise across both, working alongside a collaborative DevOps team on CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and platform support. You'll have a designated team home while routinely contributing to cross-team projects, training, and knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities 

  • Develop, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines and automation across cloud (GitLab, AWS, EKS, Terraform, Docker) and on-prem (Jenkins, OpenShift, Ansible) environments
  • Participate in infrastructure provisioning and application deployment automation across both cloud and on-prem platforms
  • Troubleshoot, document, and continuously improve deployment, monitoring, and security automation
  • Collaborate across cloud and on-prem teams through peer programming, joint solutioning, and cross-team projects
  • Share learnings and best practices across the DevOps organization to reduce silos and accelerate team capability
Requirements  

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance required
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or related role
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline development and infrastructure automation
  • Proficiency in either cloud technologies (GitLab, AWS, EKS, Terraform, Docker) or on-prem technologies (Jenkins, OpenShift, Ansible)  with willingness to cross-train in both
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes across complex infrastructure environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to document clearly and collaborate effectively across DevOps and development teams
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly in fast-moving environments
