Mid-Level Collection Requirements Manager

***This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) security clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph.***

The Mid-Level Collection Requirements Manager supports multiple intelligence disciplines - including Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT), Opensource Intelligence (OSINT), and combines all Source intelligence capabilities - which in turn supports analytical information needs in support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Center for Defense Collection Management mission to provide Secretary of Defense (SECDEF), Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS), Combatant Commanders (CCMDs), Department of Defense (DoD) Components, Services, and the Joint Staff with national-level military intelligence products, intelligence requirements, and future capability development analysis.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary for Mid-Level Collection Requirements Manager $100,000 to $120,000.  Pay commensurate with experience.

Mid-Level Collection Requirements Manager Responsibilities Include: 

  • Responsible for the Collection Requirements Management (CRM) in an all source-intelligence environment in accordance with the Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) cycle which supports tactical to strategic analytical information requirements.
  • Includes researching, validating, and submitting all source-intelligence Collection Requirements, as well as the creation of collection strategies, postures, and monitoring the production satisfaction of all all source-intelligence requirements as needed by the supported command or agency.
  • Responsible for collaborating with the DoD and other U.S. intelligence organizations on the collection, exploitation, production of DIA collection requirements and supporting reports and products. Monitor satisfaction of requirements as needed by the supported command or agency.
  • Implement current processes to provide comprehensive all source-intelligence collect support.
  • Maintain competency and expertise in the applications, methods, products, and tasking flow of all intelligence disciplines.
  • Create collection strategies, postures, and monitor the production satisfaction of the clients.  
  • Assist analysts and leaders in producing Key Intelligence Questions (KIQs) and intelligence discipline focused Essential Elements of Information (EEIs) to answer gaps.
  • Performs other collection management job-related duties as assigned to include brief preparation and answering requests for information.

Mid-Level Collection Requirements Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: 

  • Current TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph.

  • Associates or Bachelor’s highly desired.
  • Certified Collection Management Professional-Foundational certification highly desired.
  • 5-15 years of related experience working within the Intelligence Community or military intelligence experience with a significant amount of experience being in collection requirement management.
  • Completion of Service or Agency Collection Management related course.
  • Prior all source-intelligence CRM experience.
  • A growth mindset.
  • Experience with current SIGINT and HUMINT systems of record highly preferred.
  • Experience working with the DoD, Combatant Commands, or Joint Staff program offices.
  • Working knowledge of collection management systems and tools to include CHROME, UEE, MASINT Portal, IMM, POSTMAN, OSCAR-MS, CRATE, COUGAR, GIMS, and WFT. 
  • Military experience and knowledge of the Intelligence Cycle
  • Must have a valid US passport.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
