Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Ironworkers for projects located in the Denver, CO area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $28-38/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are an Ironworker and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Read and interpret structural drawings, blueprints, and connection details
  • Align and fit structural steel members including beams, columns, and girders
  • Install and tension A325/A490 high-strength bolts per project specifications
  • Perform bolt-up using torque methods, turn-of-nut procedures, and impact tools
  • Verify bolt tension and ensure connections pass inspection requirements
  • Work alongside crane operators and connecting crews during steel erection
  • Maintain proper bolt patterns and installation sequence for structural integrity
  • Complete final connections and ensure all steel is securely fastened
  • Identify and report safety concerns, damaged materials, or alignment issues
  • Assist with rigging, signaling, and steel positioning as needed
  • Follow OSHA regulations and all site-specific safety standards

Responsibilities

  • Journeyman-level ironworking experience required
  • Strong background on large-scale structural steel projects preferred
  • Experience with bolt-up, connecting, and steel erection
  • Ability to read blueprints and structural drawings
