Description

MaineHealth Gastroenterology Brunswick is seeking a part-time Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner to join their efficient practice with two other Physicians and two Nurse Practitioners. This is a 40-hour per week position consisting of mixed daily inpatient rounding and an abbreviated outpatient clinic schedule. This position has a week-day, work-hour only call schedule covering only emergent inpatient cases and a few calls for prescription refills; no weekends or holidays required. Inpatient consults are shared with the Nurse Practitioners. The hired provider would have 4 days per week clinical and 1 administrative day.

Mid Coast Hospital is proud to maintain a sense of warm community, while also being part of our large, successful Medical Group. This practice is conveniently located adjacent to Mid Coast Hospital and the state-of-the-art Digestive Health Center. Current physicians practicing in this department perform at the MGMA80th percentile for productivity and compensation.

At MaineHealth, we recognize the value each team member brings to our organization. Total compensation packages may include, based on eligibility, recruitment payments, relocation assistance, shift differentials, productivity-based incentives, quality incentives and other premiums.

The pay range for this position at a 0.5 FTE is $55,242 to $71,489 annually based on the candidate's level of experience.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

* Master's degree in PA studies from an accredited program or NPs with applicable experience/training.

* Current state license in good standing, or the ability to obtain licensing in Maine.

* DEA certificate with prescribing privileges.

* BLS certification.

* Minimum two years relevant experience required, though does not need to be GI background.
