Job Responsibilities
Experience working with the full life cycle development process which includes analysis design development and testing
Good understanding and knowledge of Star Snowflake Dimensional data modelling Data Warehouse and reporting techniques
Should have experience in designing semantic layer for huge data warehouse projects
Hands on experience in MicroStrategy Components like MSTR Architect Desktop Developer MicroStrategy Web MSTR Office Narrowcast and Distribution services
Senior member of team that interacts with business engagement teams to define Reports Dossiers and Dashboards and reporting solutions to meet diverse complex business needs
Experience in creating MicroStrategy Schema and application objects such as logical tables attributes facts Hierarchies metrics prompts filters consolidations and custom groups
Experience in Cubes Dossiers Web Mobile Dashboards and Report development
Strong SQL skills and ability to create simple to complex Schema Objects as per the requirements
Experience in working with Logical data models different types of hierarchies in MicroStrategy
Experience in working with complex MicroStrategy reports using advanced filters level metrics Transformation Rolling metrics and using pass through functions in the schema object
Experience in performance tuning of various Reports using VLDB Properties
Works with other architects developers and data analysts to review requirements and Reporting Schemas for optimal performance of business intelligence solutions
Skills Requirements
Minimum 9 years MicroStrategy development experience or equivalent combination of education and experience are preferred
Understanding of common data warehousing methodology and architecture
