Job description

Role: BI Architect  

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)

Duration: Long term Project  

10-15 years of overall experience in BI, Analytics, Business Intelligence and Analytics, specializing in report and data migration projects.
•  Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (Architecture, Data Modeling, DAX, Power BI Service).
•  Proven experience working with multiple BI platforms: 
o  MicroStrategy / Tableau / Qlik (QlikView / Qlik Sense)
•  Experience working on data migration or report migration projects, especially from legacy BI tools.
•  Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and dimensional modeling.
•  Strong SQL skills for data analysis and performance tuning.
•  Experience in designing scalable and reusable BI frameworks and designing scalable BI solutions in cloud-based environments.
•  Ability to work independently and lead BI initiatives end-to-end.
•  Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities include:
•  Design, architect, and deliver enterprise-scale Power BI solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
•  Lead BI modernization, data migration, and report migration projects, including migration from legacy BI tools to Power BI.
•  Analyze existing reports and semantic models in MicroStrategy, Tableau, and Qlik, and map them to optimized Power BI equivalents, Tableau Cloud and Qlik cloud.
•  Define and enforce BI architecture standards, best practices, data modeling guidelines, and performance optimization strategies.
•  Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and product owners to gather requirements and translate them into robust BI solutions.
•  Develop and manage Power BI datasets, data models, DAX calculations, and advanced visualizations.
•  Ensure data accuracy, performance tuning, security (RLS), and governance across BI solutions.
•  Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to BI developers and analysts.
•  Participate in solution reviews, architectural discussions, and roadmap planning.
•  Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of BI solutions across environments.
