Job description

We are seeking a Geospatial Analyst with 2โ€“3 years of experience specializing in LiDAR data processing and extraction for electrical utility applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with transmission and distribution corridor data, utilizing MicroStation and PLS-CADD to support engineering and asset management workflows.


Key Responsibilities

โ€ข Process, classify, and analyze LiDAR point cloud data for electric transmission and distribution projects

โ€ข Extract utility features such as conductors, poles, towers, and vegetation encroachment

โ€ข Develop geospatial deliverables using MicroStation and PLS-CADD

โ€ข Support engineering modeling workflows by preparing data for line design and analysis

โ€ข Perform QA/QC on LiDAR-derived datasets and mapping products

โ€ข Generate planimetric and 3D mapping deliverables

โ€ข Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and analysts

โ€ข Maintain organized project files and adhere to standards


Required Qualifications

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Geospatial Science, GIS, Surveying, or related field

โ€ข 2โ€“3 years of experience in geospatial analysis or LiDAR processing

โ€ข Experience working with LiDAR datasets

โ€ข Proficiency with MicroStation and PLS-CADD

โ€ข Strong attention to detail
