GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Description:

Position Title: Microsoft Azure/Office 365 Contractor
Basic Purpose:

The Office /Azure contractor with expertise in Sharepoint, TEAMs, federation and overall collaboration technology will be primarily responsible for integration of Office 365 applications among and security around Office 365 and Azure tenant. The deliverables and responsibilities of the contractor is to provide Office 365 engineering / architecture expertise to contribute to the architecture, design, engineering and security.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Work on integration of Banks and Eaton Vance Office 365 tenants.
• Assist with completing migrations and updates to On Premise Hybrid Exchange infrastructure.
• Administration duties relating to Microsoft Exchange and Cisco Ironport infrastructure.
Design, performance tuning, monitoring, capacity planning, integration, documentation and maintenance of teams and messaging platforms.
• Improve overall security for Office 365 and Azure tenant including but not limited to Conditional Access Policies, Microsoft Intra ID, Data Loss Prevention(DLP).
• Work with monitoring team for optimal monitoring of messaging environment.
• Collaborate with the Server and Azure teams and Clients help desk on quick resolution of issues pertaining to Office 365 applications.
Job Requirements:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent project management focus to meet required time lines.
• Good problem solving skills, enthusiastic work approach and self-motivated.
• Ability to work within predefined guidelines pertaining to change control and compliance requirements
• Ability to work as part of a team and with others in all levels of the organization.
Experience:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Microsoft enterprise systems environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Office 365
• Experience with migrating mailboxes between Exchange versions and Microsoft Azure/Office 365.
• Experience with Microsoft AD Connect, Microsoft Conditional Access Policies, and Azure
related applications.
• Systems monitoring and management experience required
• Experience with Email security related product, CISCO Ironport, Proofpoint preferred
• Windows clustering and other HA technology
• Understanding of ITIL methodology
