Job description

The Role
The BC Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing and ensuring solution integrity for implementation projects involving Business Central, coordinating consultant teams, and providing invaluable advice to customers regarding business system design and implementation. This role will also include contributing to the development of best practices and active participation in presales activities.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture:
  • Lead and assist with the development and design of end-to-end processes for BC solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional design documents and configuration specifications.
  • Design scalable, flexible, and secure architecture solutions that integrate with existing systems.
  • Identify potential risks in operations and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Implementation & Deployment
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of functional consultants on the implementation of BC solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other enterprise systems.
  • Ensure smooth deployment of solutions by coordinating with project teams, managing timelines, and addressing technical challenges.

Technology Integrations:
  • Oversee the integration of BC systems with other enterprise applications
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.

Project Management:
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring successful delivery of solutions within scope.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • 7+ years or more experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent understanding of Business Central with regard to area of focus.
  • Dynamics Business Central certifications.
  • Experience interfacing with end-users and gathering business requirements.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and articulate how Dynamics BC can add value to their business.
  • Experience designing and coordinating multiple BC full cycle deployments.
  • Worked on multiple successful implementations both on-site and remote.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
  • Strong understanding and exposure to Microsoft Power Platform.
