Job description

primeCLAIMS, is a healthcare claims clearing house and revenue-cycle platform, designed predominately for skilled nursing facilities. For more than 15 years, primeCLAIMS has streamlined the claims process, making it easy for providers to create, submit, process and receive claim payment. Based in Duluth, GA, we are looking for a front-end developer to join our team. Please note this is a hybrid position.


POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible modifying, developing, writing, implementing and testing software program applications that integrate with existing networks.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications and APIs

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, using prescribed specifications.

• Code, test, and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.

• Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic, and coding changes.

• Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.

• Analyze performance of program and take action to correct deficiencies.

• Write and maintain programming documentation.

• Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.

• Document programming issues and resolutions for future reference.

• Ensures the development of the product matches the architectural design and development guidelines.

• May develop architectural designs that meet a number of criteria objectives, including feasibility, security, stability, performance, scalability, and cost.

• Provide solutions for difficult or critical defects or production issues.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES)

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, computer engineering or equivalent job-related experience

• 7 or more years of experience as software programmer.

• Strong ability to analyze information and recommend solutions.

• Experience in .NET technologies and architecting complex, multi-tier applications.

• Knowledge of SQL Server database including SQL server reporting services and server integrations services.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

• Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables including logic and scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

• Must thrive in a small team environment.
