Job Description:

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER, SENIOR

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Software Developer Senior, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division. You will play a crucial role in providing full stack development for operational and business needs.


Develop, test, integrate, maintain front end and back end tools as required for Program operations, configuration and data management.
Collaborate with other developers and managers to ensure the tools meet the needs of the Program and are usable.
Provide training as necessary on the use of the tools you develop and implement.

Attend/facilitate meetings and provide minutes as necessary.
Be proficient in C#, Java, Rest API, Visual Studio, Git, SonarQube, Postgres, MS SQL, Jenkins, Docker, Jira, NuGet, and RedHat.
Have experience with agile methodologies and the SCRUM process.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Software Developer Senior must have:
Education: Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
Experience: 3+ years of related experience
Technical skills: front and back end development, use of tools described above
Security clearance level: SECRET required
US citizenship required
Role requirements: On-site only; able to self-manage tasks/schedule with full team in multiple locations on base.

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
