Job description

Seeking a cleared Microsoft Office Specialist to provide technical and analytical support to DARPA. This role will focus on developing and maintaining dashboards, managing data, and supporting software and tool development efforts across multiple programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs
  • Develop and maintain databases and dashboards supporting multiple DARPA programs
  • Assist with data analysis, visualization, and reporting efforts
  • Collaborate with program teams to design and implement tools that support mission needs
  • Apply modern software development methodologies to support evolving program requirements

Basic Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required
  • Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance required with ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in research, design, and development of computer/network software or specialized utility programs
    • Experience with database maintenance within an application area
    • Demonstrated ability to work on complex problem sets requiring innovative approaches
    • Experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting
    • Familiarity with modern development methodologies (Agile, DevOps/DevSecOps)

Required Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Office 365 Apps (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Power BI and Tableau
  • Python

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in a research and development environment (3+ years preferred)
  • Microsoft Office Specialist: Expert (Microsoft 365 Apps) certification preferred
