Job Summary:
Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. The Microsoft Purview Engineer plays a key role in implementing and managing enterprise security and compliance solutions using Microsoft Purview, focusing on protecting sensitive data and ensuring regulatory compliance across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
Responsibilities:
• Deploy and manage Microsoft Purview tools for data loss prevention (DLP), insider risk management, and information protection.
• Configure sensitivity labels, encryption policies, and access controls to secure data across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Integrate Purview with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and other security platforms to enhance threat detection and response.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents related to data access and usage.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, and IT teams to align Purview configurations with organizational security policies.
• Provide technical guidance and training on Purview’s security and compliance capabilities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Compliance Center, and Azure security services.
• Strong understanding of data protection, identity and access management, and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and Microsoft Information Protection.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
